Police Dog Joins His Officers In A “Git Up” Challenge

Doing crazy challenges with your colleagues makes work fun and light.

The Git Up Challenge

A song by Blanco Brown called “The Git Up” took over the internet when it turned into a dance challenge accepted by people from all over the world.

Dancing Professionals

Various uniformed professionals, from nurses and doctors to teachers and engineers, have been accepting the challenge, and probably the most impressive ones are from the dancing cops.

Different Stations

Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, Yuba City Police Department, Sutter County Courts, and Sutter County Code Enforcement teamed up to create their own dance video.

We Love The Creativity

Before the actual dance, the cops decided to create a short story where the Yuba City Police and Sutter County Sheriff Officers are fighting over a parking spot until they decide to have a dance-off.

A Special Guest

Since we’re talking about the stations’ staff dancing to Brown’s song, we are also referring to their German Shepherd police dog who joined in on the fun.

Keeping Up With The Steps

He’s obviously trying to understand what’s going on and why he wasn’t trained for this, but the police dog can be seen trying to keep up with his partner’s dance steps.

They’ve Got The Moves

Even though our police officers have the reputation of being serious and tough all the time, they surely showed their fun side with this dance video that they created.

The Spotlight Is On Him

Despite the police officers’ effort in perfecting the steps, people on the internet are more drawn to the police dog’s little scene.
