Babies bring indescribable joy to their families, most especially if their parents have been praying for their arrival for a long long time.
Meet The Tolver Family
Raquel and Darius Tolver of Tampa, Florida have a young son named Dreyson, and now they’re praying for a baby girl.
Male-Dominated Family
Darius’s family is dominated by male members. So he has always dreamt of having a daughter for a change.
Their Struggles
However, he and Raquel had challenges in conceiving as she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Whatever It Takes
Determined to grow their family, Darius and Raquel opted for intrauterine insemination (IUI), a procedure where the sperm is placed directly into the uterus using a small catheter, which eventually bore fruit in the form of a positive pregnancy test.
Four Babies
During an early sonogram, Darius and Raquel were dumbstruck when the screen displayed four embryos, meaning they were expecting quadruplets.
The Grand Reveal
On the day of their gender reveal party, Darius was expectant for a baby girl. However, his hope was getting lower and lower as the first three gender reveals showed three baby boys.
The Big Surprise
Darius was on edge after seeing blue confetti three consecutive times. He said, “If the last one is blue, I will lose my mind and potentially embarrass myself.” Fortunately, the final popper released a shower of pink confetti, and Darius and Raquel were both thrilled to learn that they were finally having a baby girl.
Meet The Quadruplets
For her whole pregnancy, Raquel was taken care of by several specialists who supported her until she was in the delivery room where she successfully gave birth to four beautiful babies named Bryson, Royce, Denzel, and, of course, the apple of their eye, baby girl Amaya.
