Adolfo Molina Burgos is an Uber driver from the Dominican Republic who now lives in Massachusetts.

He was just driving with a friend one day to pick someone up at Logan International Airport in Boston when he noticed something when they got on Interstate 93.

Driver In Distress

Adolfo spotted a woman driving a blue car who seemed to be in distress. He told NBC News, “I realized that the woman was unconscious and dizzy, colliding with the (window).”

He Jumped Into Action

Without any second thought, Adolfo pulled over, jumped out of his car, and bounded across the highway toward the blue car.

Even with the traffic around him, Adolfo didn’t care about his life being in danger at that moment. He said, “I think it was something from God because I didn’t even see any of the other cars during that time.”

He’s A Hero

Adolfo ran as fast as he could to keep up with the blue car. He tried to open the doors, but he couldn’t. Fortunately, he, along with another driver who pulled over to help, successfully managed to stop the car before the police and emergency services arrived.

Proud Wife

His wife, Maite, said that she’s very proud of him, but she also admitted that the first thing that came to her mind when she learned about the incident was that something bad could have happened to him while saving another’s life.

His Action Was Recognized

Adolfo’s act of heroism was honored by the local mayor and the Dominican consulate in Boston, and it’s safe to say that he deserves all the honor he’s getting because of his bravery.
