Andrew’s four siblings were adopted right away, and he was left alone to wait for someone to take him in permanently.

Andrew was 10 years old when he was fostered by Dominique and Kevin Gill from Nashville, Tennessee.

The Gills Family

Kevin and Dominique have three biological children, three boys, and a baby girl. Their child with whom Andrew got close the most is Joc.

Andrew Meets Joc

At first, Andrew and Joc behaved like total strangers until Joc took the first step and invited Andrew to play video games.

Their Common Denominator

Eventually, the two boys discovered that they had a lot of things in common. They both love Pop-Tarts and games like Minecraft.

The Big Decision

Kevin and Dominique saw the two boys’ bond and they didn’t want them to become apart when another family decides to adopt Andrew so they processed his adoption right away.

A Sweet Surprise

One day, as Molly Parker from Youth Villages foster system was taking Andrew for a walk, the Gills family invited his friends in the park to reveal that they’re finally taking him into their family.
