Meet Lena And KC

Married couple, Lena and KC, from Massachusetts, are looking to start their own family.

They joined an event sponsored by the organization “Children’s Friend,” where they met a lovely baby.

Meeting Baby Joey

Lena and KC saw a picture of an 18-month-old baby named Joey, and the event organizers felt that the couple would be a good match for this baby, so they adopted him.

Plus Two

Joey was two years old when he became part of Lena and KC’s family. After a year, the couple adopted his brothers – 2-year-old Logan and 1-year-old Noah – too.

Keeping Them Together

At first, KC and Lena were only going to adopt Joey and Noah as Logan was living with a foster family and was going to be adopted by another family, but they wanted to keep the three siblings together, so they made sure to adopt Logan as well.

A Special Day

The adoption of all three brothers took place on November 23rd, which also happens to be National Adoption Day.

Making It Official

At the adoption ceremony, the three boys were given toy gavels to use along with the judge’s declaration of their official adoption.

Both KC and Lena and the boys are lucky to have each other. Now, they’re living a happy life as a family of five where KC is called Mama, while Lena is called Mommy by the boys.
