I’m sure most parents have witnessed a lot of crazy things occur on their baby monitor camera. But have you ever heard of a toddler sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night for a sweet cuddle session with the family dog?
It Really Happened
Little Finn didn’t seem too sleepy one night while sleeping in his big boy bed. So, he did what any toddler would do: sneak out of bed.
But, No, He Didn’t Go to His Parents’ Bedroom for Comfort
Instead, he decided to sleep on the ground to see if made for a more comfortable place to sleep.
And Cuddle With Brutus the Family Dog
Maybe the little guy was cold or just wanted some cuddle time to help him fall asleep. Too cute!
Although Adorable, Finn’s Parents Weren’t Too Surprised By the Footage
Finn has had a close bond with Brutus since he was a baby, hence why he turns to the lovable dog whenever he’s in need of comfort.
In Fact, Finn’s Mother Adopted Brutus While She Was Pregnant With Finn
Instantly, Brutus the two-year-old Boxer was very protective of the family, especially of Finn’s momma since he could sense that she was expecting.
Even When Finn Was a Newborn With a Heart Defect, Brutus Was There
The boxer was there every step of the way from when Finn was in the womb to when Finn was recovering from open-heart surgery.
Brutus Was Always the Cuddly Type, Especially With Finn
Although the parents were a little skeptical to let their large boxer snuggle their infant, they learned to trust that Brutus had good intentions.
The Cuddles Continue to This Day
These two cannot be separated. Why would anyone want to anyway?!
They Make the Best Bed Buddies
Brutus has never harmed Finn, and when Finn wants to snuggle with him, he’s all for it. I think Brutus likes it too!
