Sweet Little Girl Adopts Pitbull Puppy With The Same “Paw” As Hers

No matter how lonely we sometimes feel, there will be people (or dogs) who will come into our lives to cheer us up and give us unending joy.

Meet Brooklyn

Brookly is a 5-year-old girl from Kansas City who has a special physical condition.

“Lobster Claw”

She was born with a rare birth defect called “ectrodactyly,” also known as “lobster claw,” where there is a malformation with her hands and fingers.

She’s Lonely

She sometimes felt lonely as she hadn’t met someone with the same special condition as hers until she learned about Bronx.

Meet Bronx

Bronx is a Pitbull puppy who was surrendered to a rescue center right after his birth.

He Has Special Hands Too

Like Brooklyn, Bronx also has ectrodactyly, which makes him different from the other dogs at the shelter.

Finding A Family

The rescuers at the center wanted to find a loving family for him so they posted his story online, and that’s how Brooklyn found out about him.

She’s A Fan

Brooklyn’s mom, Tina, showed Bronx’s video to her, and when she saw that he had the same “paw” as her, she immediately started crying tears of joy, realizing that she was not alone.

Arranging His Adoption

Brooklyn’s parents secretly reached out to the rescue center to see if Bronx was still available for adoption. They explained how Bronx and their daughter had the same rare defect and how happy Brooklyn was when she saw him.

The Big Surprise

Brooklyn couldn’t believe Bronx was hers when her parents revealed the surprise. Since then, they became best friends. They always play together, and now that Brooklyn has entered Kindergarten, Bronx waits for her to come home every day and is always happy to see her.
