While the lions are enjoying their new space, the sanctuary’s veterinarian noticed that Tarzan’s teeth are seriously infected. An emergency procedure had to happen which set Tarzan free from the pain he has been silently enduring all those years.

It is a long trip, but the rescuers stay by the lions’ side and keep them calm by spraying lavender oil around them.
