What Happened To Him

He Got Turned In
PexelsA woman brought Sammie into the shelter and handed him over because “he wouldn’t give up”, and as dreadful and as suspicious as the woman’s story is, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC said that a cruelty investigation wouldn’t be possible because the puppy was “signed over” and accepted as a stray.
He Went Through Surgery
PexelsThe rescue team took Sammie to an emergency vet where it was found out that he has a bullet hole in his head. His skin is also damaged from being dragged behind a vehicle and the bones in at least one of his back legs are severely damaged as well.
He’s Recovering
YouTube, MY DOGSAfter his first surgery, which lasted over 3 hours, Sammie was resting when he met Simon who is another rescue dog.
