When we feel like all hope is gone, and there’s no one who cares about us, that’s when great miracles happen and things start to turn around for our good.
Meet Huxley
Huxley is known for being the “depressed ram” at a petting zoo where he was living miserably all by himself.
No Shelter
The poor ram was placed in a pen at the zoo with no shelter covering so he was forced to endure the rain, sun, storm, and snow.
He’s Overweight
Zoogoers would just throw stuff over the fence at Huxley, causing him to become overweight, which wasn’t good for his body.
A Petition For Huxley
Rian Feldman, Founder and President of Uncle Neil’s Home, saw Huxley’s poor situation and it broke her heart so she petitioned the County to release three animals from the zoo to Uncle Neil’s Home so they can get the proper treatment they need and deserve.
A New Life
Now, Huxley has a new cozy soft bed to sleep in and proper shelter. Rian also made sure to give him kisses and pet him so he could feel the love he’s been missing for 10 years.
He’s Made Friends
It took Huxley quite some time to adjust to his new life, but eventually, he started making new friends – he now has a ewe best friend named Josephine, and he’s also made friends with pigs and sheep.
Getting Healthier
Huxley is also getting steroid injections every six months for his arthritis, and laser treatments, and is on a strict medication and nutrition regimen.
His Favorite Spot
His favorite place on the farm is under a cherry blossom tree where he and Rian would sit for hours as she scratches his neck so that he knows how loved he is.

My first question would have been, why? What is he depressed about?
But non one asked that question foe 10 years?? That is sick.
Thank you sincerely for petitioning for his release.
You are a the best a human is!
