19-Year-Old Pizza Hut Manager Wows America’s Got Talent Judges And Audience With Her Singing Voice

We all have dreams we want to make possible, and we will only succeed in doing so when we step out of our comfort zone.

Meet Summer

Summer Rios is an expectant 19-year-old girl from Brunswick, Ohio.

A Young Singer

She is a talented young woman who’s been singing since she was 4 years old, but never got to perform in front of a crowd because of anxiety, which she’s now trying to overcome by joining America’s Got Talent.

A Career Woman

At such a young age, she is already a manager at Pizza Hut within just a year of working.

An Old Workmate

To make things more interesting, Summer disclosed that she used to work with a boyfriend (now ex) at Pizza Hut, but she said he’s no longer in the picture.

They Were Intrigued

Judge Simon Cowell asked Summer if she hopes he was watching her audition right now, to which the 19-year-old replied, “I hope he’s not,” and everyone in the room burst out in laughter.

Now To The Serious Part

When Summer was finally asked to start her performance, the room fell silent when she started singing “Something in the Orange” by Zach Bryan.

Voice Like An Angel

She sang the song with so much emotion, and her voice was sweet and soothing to listen to.

Mission Accomplished

When her performance ended, the audience gave her a standing ovation, including judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, and that alone was already a win for Summer who just overcame her anxiety of performing in front of a crowd.

Four Yeses

Of course, all four judges gave her a big YES. At one point, Judge Heidi Klum even compared Summer’s singing voice to Rihanna’s. She said, “To me, it sounded a little bit like you swallowed Rihanna.”
