People usually have misconceptions about pit bulls because of their intimidating looks, but if we give them a chance, we’ll see how sweet and lovable they actually are.
Meet Harold
Harold used to be a sad pit bull because no one wanted to adopt him.
Rejections After Rejections
He had sadly been returned to the Grand Strand Humane Society three times, and this caused him to have separation anxiety.
A Good Boy
Despite his sad past, Harold grew to become a good dog, and he proved it one day after he came back from his walk.
He Wants To Say Something
The volunteers at the shelter noticed that he was fixated on an area where shelter supplies and donations are unloaded.
Six Tiny Puppies
Harold started circling a large Tupperware container on the side of his truck bed, so the volunteers went and checked. That’s when they saw six puppies left in the plastic container.
He’s A Hero
The volunteers at the shelter said that something bad might have happened to the puppies if Harold didn’t do something, so he was named a hero.
He’s Found A Home
Things started to turn around for Harold. After spending more than 500 days at the shelter, he finally got adopted by one of the volunteers there named Marlena.
Living His Best Life
Harold now gets to sleep in his own cozy bed and go on walks with his owner while riding his stroller and being pushed around. He also loves his Mickey Mouse cookies and has now bloomed into an energetic and joyful dog.
