Talents are meant to inspire, be nurtured, and showed off.

Meet Lisette

Lisette Oropesa is a Cuban-American soprano known for starring in remarkable opera concerts.

A Night To Remember

People from all over the world fly for hours and spend a lot to witness her majestic performance, and they do not leave the theater disappointed.

Another Concert

Lisette was set to perform again on stage one evening at the Verdi Festival in Parma, Italy, and people were ecstatic to hear her sing.

Voice Of An Angel

When she started singing, everyone was silent. The entire room was filled with her awe-inspiring soprano voice.

It’s A Duet

However, the piece she was performing that night, “Sempre Libera” from La Traviata, was supposed to be a duet performance, but when the tenor’s part came, no one sang.

Mysterious Voice

After the first line of the tenor was missed, someone from the audience started singing the part. And he did it so perfectly!

Meet Jianwei

The mysterious voice was from Liu Jianwei, a young opera student who’s also a fan of Lisette.

Spontaneous Duet

Lisette couldn’t believe what was happening. She thanked Jianwei on stage while he was doing the part and then joined him in the duet as the song neared its end.

What A Performance!

Lisette met with Jianwei after the concert, took a photo with him, and gave him an autograph as a thank you for saving the performance.
