In Reginald’s “Sing With Me” series, he would set up his guitar and sound system on a sidewalk and ask strangers to sing with him for free.

His Purpose

Reginald said that he created this series not to focus on himself or his music but to encourage others to be more confident. He wants to encourage people to face their fears and express themselves through music.

Meet Quiora

One day, during his “gig” in Herald Square, New York City, he came across a young lady named Quiora who was on her way to school that day and stopped by when she saw the sign “Sing with me for free.”

She Was Shy

Reginald explained to her what his “Sing With Me” series was about. Later on, they were browsing Quiora’s playlist and found Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.” However, she was not that confident with her voice as she admitted that she was still in her tiny little box of comfort zone.

She Faced Her Fear

Despite her hesitation, Quiora still decided to conquer her fear and started singing the song with what turned out to be her incredible voice.

People Were Amazed

A crowd had gathered as her impromptu performance went on, and by the end of the song, Quiora belted out an impressive high note and sent off the audience into a big round of applause.
