Neglected Dog Was Forced To Live Outside For 3 Years After His Owner’s Passing

Our pets deserve to be passed on to loving and responsible people when we’re no longer around to take care of them.

Furry Gift

A little puppy was given to an 80-year-old woman as a gift one day. She was a responsible owner to him until her final breath.

Sad Ending

Sadly, the old woman was only able to spend four wonderful months with her puppy named Yoggy as she passed away so soon.

Her Plans For Him

The old woman had it in her will that Yoggy would be taken care of by her family as well as her house. However, her three daughters only took ownership of the house but forgot about the poor little pup.

Three Long Years

Three years after the old woman’s passing, it was only when an electrician visited the house that Yoggy was found tied up outside in a horrendous condition.

Calling For Help

The electrician contacted the “Save a Life Pet Rescue” team to help save the poor dog who was already three times than normal size as his fur had tangled up into a matted mess due to lack of grooming and bath. His back had also started growing moss, which showed the neglect he’d been through for years.

His First Grooming Session

Yoggy received a much-needed shave and a warm bath from the rescue team. He had pink and raw skin, and the spot where his collar had been linked to the chain on his neck had a mark, but he appeared much better than when he was found.

Poor Eyesight

Unfortunately, living outside had caused his eyes to get infected and damaged. Although he could still see a little and sense some movement, poor Yoggy would never again have perfect vision.

His Recovery Journey

The rescue team is able to provide Yoggy with good food and a warm bed. He delights in the attention of his rescuers and loves getting as many pats as he can.

Huge Progress

Eventually, Yoggy’s personality started to brighten up during his time at the rescue center. He’s made friends with the other dogs at the center and started to display his lively side.
