A Special Role

He was given a special role at their wedding in Portsmouth, Rhode Island as an honorary groomsman/ring bearer.

They Prepared Him

Kate and her husband even hired a dog trainer named Danielle Marcheso to teach Colonel how to walk gracefully down the aisle while carrying their wedding rings.

Unexpected Event

However, when the big day came, Colonel seemed to forget everything he learned from his training when he saw his owners at the altar.

He Ran Fast

Colonel has got his eyes on his owners while rushing down the aisle. He leaped onto his dad, happily ran around the altar, and even knocked the microphone stand while doing so.

They Were Amused

Although things didn’t go as planned, Kate said she wouldn’t have had it any other way.
