Sneaky animals usually get into troublesome situations. This was what happened to this tiny kitten.
The Whisler Family
Content creator Kass Whisler shared how her family rescued a tiny kitten they heard crying inside their walls.
Kittens In Distress
She recalled hearing two kittens crying one day, and the mama cat was also “growling” from inside the house.
They Took Care Of Them
They gave the cats some food and let them settle in the house for the night.
They’re Gone
The next morning, they could still hear a kitten crying, but the cat family was nowhere to be seen so Kass followed where the sound was coming from.
Sneaky Kitten
As it turns out, a kitten wandered around the house and made its way into a pipe just beside the air-conditioning system and got stuck in it.
They Rescued Him
As the crying continued, the Whisler family cut off some of the pipes in the basement fireplace to see if they could rescue the poor kitten.
He Was There
Their son made a small cut on the pipe where the sound was coming from, and when he ripped its side open using a pair of pliers, they saw a glimpse of the stranded kitten through the hole.
They Had To Cut More
The dad made a bigger cut where the kitten could fit then put his arms into the pipe to reach for the poor furball. Finally, he was in safe hands.
Meet Murphy Danger
The Whisler family is now fostering the little kitten while his adoption papers are in process. They named him Murphy Danger after a late Navy SEAL named Michael Murphy. His second name, however, was given so he could say, “Danger is my middle name.”
