Pretty much everyone got the last song syndrome with Grease’s soundtrack in the 70s.
One Of The Best
One of the most successful musicals of all time, Grease, marked its 40th anniversary last 2018.
The Star Of The Show
Phenomenal singer, actor, and dancer, John Travolta, guested in Jimmy Fallon’s show and recreated the musical’s famous hip swirl.
Warming Up
Jimmy Fallon began the conversation with some compliments for John and Grease. He also asked about the iconic move called “Four Corners.”
John’s Explanation
“Like in Pulp Fiction, I grew up with all these novelty dances. So in Grease, they needed a step for ‘You’re the One That I Want’ at the end. So I said, ‘Well, we used to do the four corners, why don’t we do that?’ So the choreographer said, ‘Show it to me,’ and I did,” said John.
On Their Feet
Finally, the two gentlemen stood up. John led the dance and the host eventually joined him to the beat.
It Was An Honor
John and Jimmy concluded the segment with a hug as the audience applauded the two men for bringing back the 70s feels.
Timeless Movie
The lead star is convinced that the movie will ‘keep on giving to each new generation.” He also said, “When people watch this, they just get happy.”
He Doesn’t Age
People on the internet admire John Travolta and how he still dances with grace even now that he’s already in his 60s.
