True love lasts forever, and for some, not even death can get between their love for each other.
Meet Tracey
Tracey Cox is a widow from Scott County who was married to a loving man named Rich.
A Wonderful Love
Tracey and Rich tied the knot in 1986 and were happily married for 26 years.
Until Rich’s Passing
Rich sadly passed away in 2012 at the age of 53 due to throat cancer, but this did not stop Tracey from feeling his love for her.
A Surprise
Even after Rich’s passing, Tracey still receives flowers on Valentine’s Day and her birthday. It started in 2013 when her doorbell rang one day and she received a bunch of flowers with a note that said, “Happy birthday and Valentine’s Day. Love, Rich.”
He’s Consistent
Since then, bunches of flowers kept on coming especially during Valentine’s Day as Tracey’s birthday is on the day after the 14th of February.
A Secret
As it turns out, Rich told Tracey’s daughter, Bethany, and her three siblings about his secret plans, and they’re now fulfilling these plans by making sure Rich’s love and messages for Tracey are delivered even after he’s gone.
He’s Her Role Model
Bethany said that she wasn’t surprised when she heard about her father’s plan because he was a really thoughtful person ever since. She said, “He’s literally the role model of a man that every woman wants to find. A true love story.”
True Love
Tracey said that if only she could also send Rich a message, she would tell him that she is forever grateful for everything he did when he was still alive and for everything he’s still doing even after he’s gone.
