Brandon McNamee was driving when he spotted a hitchhiker along the road and so he started recording.

He gave the elderly woman, Kim, a ride to save her from walking to her work without a winter coat in the cold 19-degree weather.

It turns out that the car she used to drive when going to work had broken down and she had no means of getting it fixed, so she had to leave home early to walk to her workplace.

After dropping Kim off at her work, Brandon posted the video on social media, and to his surprise, many people commented and shared Kim’s story. Her life was about to change in a few moments.

One of Brandon’s friends gave him an idea to raise money for an Uber gift card so the woman could get a ride to work. So he did, and many people chipped in.

Later that same day, Brandon went to Wendy’s where Kim works and told her the great news.

Brandon gave Kim an Uber gift card as well as some extra cash for her to get her car fixed. However, there were also some mechanics who reached out to fix her car for free.

Kim was almost speechless after hearing about the great news. All she could say was a warm “thank you!” together with an indescribable smile.
