A Steady Whale

He Approached Her
YouTube, Wake Up WorldThey floated next to the whale they named Valentina but they didn’t see any sign of life until she let out a struggling breath. That’s when Michael decided to carefully swim towards her with his snorkeling gear.
She’s Trapped
PexelsMichale discovered that Valentina was severely entangled in a net that’s used by local fishermen within the area.
Saving Valentina
YouTube, Wake Up WorldWith everything they could, the boaters tried to set Valentina free from the net, but it was too complicated. When the whale felt distressed, she swam for a few minutes, dragging Michael’s boat with her through the waters.
She’s Free
PexelsAfter a few more tries, Valentina finally made it out of the net. Thanks to the effort of Michael and his family and friends.
Saying Thank You
PexelsRight after being free from entanglement, Valentina provided the boaters an incredible full surface display of breaches, tail lobs, tail slaps, and pectoral tail slaps. It’s as if she’s saying thank you to her rescuers.
