Emmelina Meets Kiki

Emmelina Austin went to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston with her husband, Michael, and their newborn baby, where they met Kiki, a gorilla mom.

A Different Connection

Kiki looks at Emmelina’s 1-month-old son, Canyon, with adoration in her eyes. Austin said, “My wife mentioned that she felt like she could understand their bond and could see how much she cared for Pablo since she is a mother now herself.”

Canyon Meets Pablo

After a few moments, Kiki took her son, Pablo, and brought him to the glass to proudly show him to Emmelina and Canyon. What an emotional moment!

Saying Goodbye

After a while, Kiki and Pablo took a few steps back as if saying goodbye and thanking them for a short motherly moment that they had.

Little Canyon may be too young to remember this moment but his parents will surely tell him of this special day when he gets older.
