It’s a big world we live in, but from a tiny animal’s perspective, it’s WAAAYYY bigger, so it’s the pet owner’s responsibility to make it less frightening and overwhelming for them by giving them the best and comfiest lifestyle they can provide.
Meet Maru
Maru is a cute little gerbil who has a lifestyle most of us will be envious of.
Good Morning
The first thing that he does every day is take a sand bath since gerbils are sand-dwelling animals.
First Nap
After taking an early sand bath to get rid of his body oil, Maru takes his first nap of the day in his cozy bed made of blankies.
Yummy!
When he wakes up, his owner has already prepared a sumptuous meal that consists of pure vegan organic seed mix, some green leaves, beetles or mealworms for protein, and an omelet. After he’s done eating, Maru is now full and ready for his second nap.
His Exercise
At 11 AM, Maru gets on his wheel and runs for a couple of minutes, and when he gets tired, he then gets back to his bed and slips into his third nap.
Playful Gerbil
At 12 PM, Maru’s owner starts her job, but the playful little gerbil loves running around her workspace and chewing on any cords he finds.
Fourth Nap
YouTube, The DodoEventually, Maru gets tucked in for his fourth nap. It’s the most special kind of nap for him as his owner tucks him into his “nap-o-nator,” a little bed that’s snuggled with warm blankies and his teddy bear to make his nap even more comfortable.
Night Routine
When nighttime comes, Maru’s owner has finished her work day, and she goes on to tidy up his enclosure to reset for the next day.
