Great News
YouTube, WFAAA man named Cliff contacted foster care and expressed his desire to adopt Evan. As it turns out, Cliff worked as a paraprofessional at the school Evan attended. Their communication got cut off during the pandemic until his colleague shared the 2021 Wednesday’s Child spotlight with him.
His New Family
YouTube, WFAACliff showed Evan’s Wednesday’s Child episode to his husband, Cory, who agreed with the decision to adopt the young boy. They knew about Evan’s special needs and his need for behavioral therapy, and they’re ready to commit to him and his needs for the long haul.
A New Life
YouTube, WFAAIn October 2022, Evan’s adoption became official in front of a judge. He now has his own parents, a little sister, and a little brother.
