A Tough Battle

PexelsOn his deathbed, Marc requested to sing Garth Brooks’ “The Dance” as his friend played his acoustic guitar.
An Emotional Moment
Rumble, WrightmSurrounded by his family and friends who were sharing the special and memorable moment with him, Marc emotionally sang the song with all the strength that was left of him.
His Legacy
PexelsMarc had been a firefighter since he was 17 years old in 1988 until he got promoted to Lieutenant.
A Change Of Career
PexelsThe Lieutenant earned a certification as an emergency medical technician when he was 19 years old and he got hired as an EMT for Boone Hospital Center.
Back To His Passion
PexelsMarc returned to firefighting in 1992 and served as lieutenant, captain, battalion chief, and division chief until he retired in February 2017.
He Left Beautiful Memories
Rumble, WrightmAfter being a firefighter for 30 years, Marc passed away on January 29, surrounded by loved ones with beautiful memories he has left for them and for the people whose lives he had touched.
