We all need a little help sometimes, and if we’re lucky enough, someone much stronger than us will voluntarily step in to be our guide.
Meet Terfel
Terfel is a 14-year-old senior dog who is blind and partially deaf.
His Comfort Zone
When he kept on getting hurt walking around the house, he just decided to stay in his basket.
But It All Changed
The only thing that made Terfel leave his comfort zone was Pwditat (pronounced as “Pudditat”), a formerly stray cat adopted by Terfel’s owner, Anne.
He’s A Fierce Cat
Pwditat is not very nice with other cats. They are afraid of him because he bullies them a lot.
A Soft Spot For Terfel
However, Anne noticed how gentle Pwditat is toward Terfel, and this made them instant best friends.
His Guide Cat
Pwditat helps to lead Terfel around the house, encouraging him to get out of his basket and start moving around with him. Since then, he has become Terfel’s designated “guide cat.”
Clingy Friends
When the two friends are not out walking together, they can be found cuddling on the couch.
A Unique Friendship
While Terfel and Pwditat’s friendship is quite unique because we so often see dogs chasing after cats, their relationship is also special. Pwditat seems to have seen Terfel’s need for extra care, which he lovingly gives for free.
