Tireless Dog Barks To Get Help For A Baby Left In The Dump

Having A Nice Stroll

Revilla was just having a nice bike ride along the mountains in Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines when he had an encounter with a random dog.

It Won’t Stop Barking

The dog started barking at Revilla. At first, he thought that it was just a stray dog who barks at random strangers, but when it didn’t stop barking at him, he decided the dog was trying to tell him something.

He Followed The Dog

The dog led Revilla to a dump site, and he was surprised to see a newborn baby lying atop some grass.

Calling The Authorities

Revilla rushed the baby to the nearest police station to get help, and they found out that the baby was just days old and still had the umbilical cord attached to him.

Taking Care Of The Baby

The department of social welfare stepped in to take care of the baby, and a local rescue called the “Hope For Strays” went ahead to look for the hero dog who saved the baby’s life.

His Name Is Blacky

The local rescue got to know that the hero dog’s name is Blacky, and that he’s actually not a stray dog.

He Has A Family

Blacky is owned by a family in Sibonga, Cebu who has 10 dogs in total. “No matter how hard life is, even though I’m poor, I feed all of my dogs and take care of them well,” Ybarita, Blacky’s owner said.

Helping Blacky’s Family

After Blacky’s story has spread, the family received overflowing love and support from the community. They were gifted with pet supplies, food, and many other essentials.
