Life only becomes more interesting when unexpected things happen.
Meet Lori
Lori Jones works at Horsetooth Inn and RV Park in Stout, Colorado where she had an encounter with a “wild” customer.
Anybody Home?
A doe appeared at the gift shop’s doorway one day and came in after taking a critical peek inside.
Window Shopping
The doe checked out the sunglasses rack and the potato chips. She even greeted a random customer while she was doing her own window shopping.
Luring Her Out
When Lori saw that the deer wasn’t planning on buying anything, she successfully lured her outside with a peanut bar.
She Came Back
Lori continued on with her day on shift, but eventually, she was surprised when the doe came back, but this time with her entire family in tow.
Complete Family
Lori said, “Later, I was in the office checking the store stock. I walked out and there she was with her twins and a lone buck that she nursed. I just used my phone to snap the pics. I laughed so hard!”
Another Peanut Bar
Lori then fetched another peanut bar and lured the entire family of deer out to the field.
A Common Instance
No matter how unlikely this might seem to us, the visiting deer is just a normal scenario in Stout, Colorado where an estimated population of 47 probably has more deer than people.
