Deaf Pit Bull Is Sad When Her Best Friend Gets Adopted

Having a best friend who stays through thick and thin makes life a whole lot better.

Meet Marshmallow

Marshmallow is a pit bull who resides in a rescue center. She is almost completely deaf.

Her Best Friend

One of Marshmallow’s best buddies is Scooby who also lived at the rescue organization.

A Special Bond

The Unleashed Pet Rescue staff in Kansas noticed that these two dogs loved spending time with each other and had a special friendship.

A Year Of Friendship

The two dogs had been best friends for more than a year. Wherever Marshmallow was, Scooby was there too. They would always play together and hang out in their shared kennel.

Saying Goodbye

It all changed when a family became interested in adopting Scooby.

Heartbroken Marshmallow

With Scooby now gone, the volunteers at the center could tell that Marshmallow felt absolutely disheartened about it.

Cheering Her Up

The staff immediately knew what was wrong with the poor dog, and they tried their best to cheer her up by giving her a lot of extra attention, just to try and keep her happy.

They Shared Her Story

The rescue center shared Marshmallow’s story and soon enough, another family was actually interested in taking her home. Even though the pit bull would still be apart from Scooby, she would finally have a warm and loving home again.

Who knows, maybe she would find new friends in her new home.
