Meet Carl
Carl is a friendly crane who comes to visit his friend, Autumn, every day.
How It Started
Their friendship started when Carl appeared at Autumn’s doorstep one day out of the blue and began knocking at her door.
A Daily Habit
Since then, the friendly crane started visiting Autumn’s house every day. He would knock at her door early in the morning, and Autumn would greet him every single time.
Meet The Family
Carl began to trust Autumn enough that one day, he even brought his whole family with him on a visit to his good friend’s house. That’s when Autumn met his partner, Carla, and their offspring, Junior.
Playful Crane
Autumn’s grown fond of Junior because of his playfulness and quirkiness. He is energetic and loves playing around Autumn’s yard.
Empty-Nesters
Eventually, Junior grew up and moved out of Carl and Carla’s nest. But after a few weeks, Carl introduced their two new babies to Autumn – twin chicks named Kevin and Kyle.
A Tragic Accident
Tragedy struck Carl’s family one day when Kyle got hit by a car. Autumn called the Raptor Center of Tampa Bay for help but unfortunately, Kyle couldn’t be saved. Because of that, Autumn decided to put up a “crane crossing” sign to ensure the wandering cranes’ safety.
Junior Is Back
Life went on for Autumn and Carl’s family. After a few more weeks, Junior came back, and this time, he was not alone as he was with his newfound mate, whom he also introduced to Autumn, in accordance with his family’s tradition.
