When we’re in a time of need and someone steps in to offer help, we see them as one of the biggest blessings we’ve ever encountered, and this story will make you believe that there are still people willing to help anyone anywhere.
A Normal Day
On June 15, Kaye Fiorello was driving down Interstate 75 when she saw a state trooper in a turnout.
She Saw A Dog
While driving further down the highway, Kaye saw a dog in a ditch by an exit sign who looked like she needed help.
She Called The Trooper
Kaye made a u-turn and alerted the trooper about the dog. Trooper Tudors of the TN State Highway Patrol got concerned when he saw the poor dog’s situation and used his own jug to give the terrified dog a drink.
He Won’t Leave
Kaye said in an interview, “Next thing, he goes to his vehicle and gets a chair and an umbrella. Telling me he will stay here until she trusts him, so he can get her to a shelter, or take her home.”
She’s In Good Hands
The dog was then taken to Cleveland TN Animal Control to get treated. It was found out that she had a broken pelvis and some internal issues.
Donations Came In
Kaye started an “angel fund” which allowed donors to give directly to the vet hospital where the dog was admitted.
Meet Princess
The dog was then named Princess. She underwent surgery and weeks of treatment, and Trooper Tudors and his family offered for her to stay with them as soon as she recovered.
She’s Adopted
On June 23, Kaye announced that “someone” has adopted Princess, and she also revealed that the “someone” was Trooper Tudors and his family.
