After 20 Years

She Loves Her New Home

She’s Underweight
YouTube, GeoBeats AnimalsIt’s just sad to think that Chada is quite small and underweight for her breed and age. Usually, an Ursus arctos isabellinus is often 9.19 feet and 456.36 pounds, but Chada is only 260 pounds because she lived inside a small cage for most of her life.
She’s Getting By
YouTube, GeoBeats AnimalsDespite everything she’s been through, Chada is now happy with her new life in the sanctuary. She communicates with other bears and wolves over her fence and splashes the water in her pool all the time. Sometimes, though, her being “a grandma” comes out and she gets grumpy when the other bears and wolves are noisy when she’s trying to rest or take a nap.
