Man Driving With Bull In Passenger Seat Gets Pulled Over By Cops

Cops witness a lot of crazy things on duty. When you’re on highway patrol duty, expect to see different kinds of weird things on the road.

A Random Report

One typical day, Nebraskan police officers received reports of a bull riding shotgun in a car cruising down the freeway.

A Grown Bull

To be clear, it wasn’t just a small calf, but a full-sized Watusi bull that weighs over half a ton.

Checkpoint

The Norfolk police received the report about the bull riding in the car and pulled them over for inspection and questioning as the car ride situation was posing some potential danger to the car’s durability and other people on the road.

How Did It Get There?

As funny as it looks, the bull and the driver’s situation was quite complicated. Certain modifications were made to the car so the bull could fit in the passenger seat. The roof on that part of the car was removed, and the animal was held in place by a rope.

Stinky Situation

Although his position in the car seemed comfy enough for a road trip, the bull wasn’t quite ready for a long time on the road as the police officers spotted some manure right behind where he was standing.

Gentle Giant

Despite his enormous size, the bull was calm all throughout the inspection. He didn’t make a single fuss even with the officers walking around their vehicle.

Threat To Safety

The cops, however, decided not to let the driver continue to his destination as driving around with the bull’s horns poking out of the vehicle wasn’t exactly safe. To add to that, they weren’t sure if the car would be able to hold the bull’s weight for much longer, anyway.

Please Go Home

The driver and owner of the bull was Lee Meyer, and the Watusi bull’s name was Howdie Doodie. Lee was given a ticket for the violation and was asked to go back home and look for a bigger vehicle to put Howdie Doodie in if he wanted to go on a road trip with him.
