An opportunity to help comes randomly. You might think you are about to enjoy a carefree trip with your buddies, but you end up being someone’s hero instead – like these 11 men.
Out With The Guys
11 men were having a canoe trip along the Minnesota River for their friend’s bachelor party but they didn’t know how they would be ending their day.
Poor Doggo
They were cruising the river when they saw a Saint Bernard dog in distress as he was stuck in the mud.
A Decision To Make
The groom-to-be, Mitch White, didn’t think twice and urged his friends right away to come to the poor dog’s rescue. He said, “My fiancée Kelly probably won’t marry me if we don’t get this dog out of here.”
A Difficult Mission
The 11 men did their best and everything they could possibly do to free the stuck dog for over half an hour.
He’s Tired
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to get the dog out of his predicament as he was too tired and exhausted to move on his own so they gave him food and water to ease his discomfort.
Asking For Help
In their desperation to rescue the dog, the men reached out to First Responders who helped them set the dog free and contact his owner.
Reunited
With everyone’s relentless efforts, the dog, who’s named Ed, was now safe and reunited with his owner, George, who’s immensely grateful to those who went above and beyond to save his dog.
Sneaky Dog
George said that Ed would roam around from time to time but would always come back home, but this time, he had been missing for about a day. Good thing, a group of concerned men spotted him along the river.
