He Was Thrown Away

After his captors got bored of owning him, they left him alone in the wild, expecting that nature would just get rid of him.

Rescuers Found Him

Rescuers from an organization found little Gito in a cardboard box with damaged skin and his life hanging by a thread.

Coming To His Rescue

The rescuers who found him rushed him to the organization’s animal hospital where the vets immediately put him on a drip to treat his dehydration and malnutrition.

Gito’s Skin Care Routine

The nurses also massaged coconut oil all over the baby orangutan’s body to treat the inflammation, relieve the itchiness, and soften his hardened skin.

His Recovery

In two months’ time, Gito’s already healthy and full of energy. He’s even teething on his swinging ropes!

A New Friend
