The world is a very huge place, and it’s never too late to explore lots of wondrous places with people you love.
Grand-Mom
Our grandmothers have one of the purest hearts. They express their love for us in different ways, and they always make sure that we get the best treatment every time we visit them.
Her Bucket List
Joy Ryan is a 91-year-old grandma from Ohio who has never traveled before.
An Almost-Travel
She told her grandson, Brad Ryan, that the only adventure she had been on that was close to a travel was when she went with her husband to a fishing hole in Okeechobee, Florida.
A Small Trip
Brad didn’t want to accept that her grandma wouldn’t get to see for herself how beautiful their country is, so he took her to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and she loved it.
More Travels
Upon seeing that Grandma Joy had fun with their short trip, Brad immediately made some plans to visit more places with her.
Roadtrip With Grandma
Brad researched the 63 national parks in the US and decided to head onto the mainland parks that they could visit as they make a big loop around the country.
Adventurous Grandma
Brad and Grandma Joy went hiking in deserts and mountains, saw whales, and even experienced white water rafting together until they got to their last stop.
Family First
Brad chose the American Samoa National Park as their final stop. He said, “American Samoa is an island community that is very firmly rooted in family. I think that there’s a bit of poetic beauty in ending it there.”
Out-Of-The-Country Trips
Now that they have explored the US, the two now plan to travel to Kenya to experience its splendor and then perhaps visit some Canadian national parks on their next trips.
