On July 15, 2023, Ivy tied the knot with another police officer, a sheriff’s deputy, to be exact, but this is not what made her wedding special.

As for Ivy’s wedding, she decided to break traditions by having 15 different men walk her down the aisle.

Her Guide And Support
Ivy explained, “Each of these men has played a monumental role in my journey, standing by my side, guiding, protecting, and supporting me, even in moments when I didn’t explicitly ask for it. Having them walk me down the aisle was my way of honoring them and letting the world see the pillars of strength in my life.”
A Special Story
One of these men who gave her away on her wedding day was the school resource officer who put her abusive dad in prison and made her feel safe and protected when she needed consolation.
He Changed Her Perspective
Ivy’s father was convicted of grave crimes in the past, which caused her to have a deep-seated mistrust of law enforcement, but her encounter with the noble school resource officer changed her perspective big time.
Her Inspiration
The school resource officer was Ivy’s inspiration to become one too, and all the other men who walked her down the aisle also share remarkable stories with her that built and molded the woman she is now.
