Much-Needed Baths
PexelsWhen 42 of the 156 rescued beagles arrived at CUPA’s shelter, the volunteers immediately gave them a good bath they hadn’t had for a long time.
Fresh And Clean
PexelsThe volunteers at CUPA said that the dogs didn’t seem too excited with their first bathing experience but they looked happy and fresh once they got out of the bath.
A New Rule
PexelsThe rescuing of the beagles is part of a new agreement between the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) and the majority of the laboratories in India, which states that dogs cannot be used in lab testing for more than three years.
Baby Steps
YouTube, StoryTrenderSince the beagles have never been exposed to the outside world, they need to learn the basics of living in a home like using the stairs, toilet training, socializing with people, and going on walks.
