What a beautiful sound thousands of voices singing together as one must be!
The “DaBu” Duo
Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman, also known as “DaBu,” started their creative venture in Toronto, Canada in 2011.
Choir! Choir! Choir!
Goldman and Adilman would gather thousands of people in one place and orchestrate them into one melody as they create a unique cover of different songs. They call this movement “Choir! Choir! Choir!”.
A Remarkable Cover
One of the most exceptional pieces Choir! Choir! Choir! has made took place at the Hearn Generating Station.
No Age Limit
People of all ages, from kids to seniors, joined in as over 1,500 singers to belt out Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
How It Happened
The guests were given a setlist and lyrics sheet as they entered the venue and then before the event started, DaBu instructed the audience about the vocal arrangement.
A Special Guest
The band and audience were lucky enough to have top singer, songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright join in and lead the choir as they sang a marvelous cover of “Hallelujah.”
They Make A Great Team On Stage
The DaBu duo conducted the singers and played the guitar while Wainwright led the melody of the song.
