I'm also in the minority in NTJ. You thought your friend would like a nice gift that you don't use. I have often gotten gifts like this and appreciated them. I don't care if they were pre-gifted or pre-used. I like it! I keep it!
After your edits, You might have been a jerk in one situation, but you're a good person for seeing the other side. overall, NAJ.
NTJ. I also disagree that "It's the right thing" to help your adult sister. If you want to, that's great. But you're not 'wrong' if you don't want to bail out a sibling because your life decisions have been better than hers.
