Kind of the jerk. You just said you stopped loving your sister several years ago. Your sister. Growing up, it sounds like you were all she had. For all purposes it sounds like you chose to be the "mom" but years later you are just now telling her you are not. 20 is still a child. Especially when you consider the way she had to "grow up" In this case, I think there are two sides and I need to here hers to give my official AITJ opinion. Obviously you both have some mental and emotional issues to work through. You had to grow up fast and without the love and guidance you were able to provide for your sister and that breaks my heart . I would recommend counseling together to repair your relationship and establish clear, healthy boundaries. But if you no longer love her. What's the point?
