She's rude AF. I would never ask my friends for $ if I invite them over for dinner. They'll ask what they can bring and I just tell them: I have beer and wine, if you want something else then definitely bring it. They might bring snacks for starters or some treats for my pups. I'm grateful for the thought, but I invited them for their company, not their money.
Sometimes I have pizza sometimes burgers, sometimes steaks. And they don't care. It's about hanging out and having fun.
Tabitha is a little nose picker. Just because her parents are talking smack doesn't mean she needs to run to your niece and rub it in her face. My older family members used to say some rude things about people ( often racist crap). I knew it was wrong from a young age and ignored it. When I got older, I told them off for their BS. Tabitha's parents need to learn a lesson. Next time it might be worse if she keeps spreading their bigoted comments.
Don't do it . Shut this down now. No one has the right to just show up and spend a week especially with their dog without a discussion first. Your girlfriend needs to grow a spine yesterday.
We didn't have a lot of money so getting new crayons and a sketch pad, new clothes instead of hand me downs was awesome. Kids are way too spoiled today.
New sneakers were amazing! Your child probably already has a ton of toys. He needs to learn to be grateful for what he receives, whatever it is. I had to be thankful for the way too warm itchy sweaters my grandma always gave us.
