AITJ For Telling Our Mom Where My Brother Was?
YTJ but not to your brother, to your mom. You should never have covered for him and let your mom worry like that. You should have told him from the start to stay home or you weren't gonna lie when mom came looking. He's still a minor. Granted, teens make dumb decisions, it's all part of the growing up process. Doesn't mean you have to support those decisions. Even if you didn't want to say where he was, at the VERY least you should have told your mom you were texting with him so you knew he was OK.
NTJ but please proofread before posting. This was somewhat difficult to follow.
Soft YTJ. While your sister was absolutely in the wrong speaking about your wife badly in front of your daughter, you are also punishing your daughter for your sister's actions. You and your sister definitely need to have a discussion about inappropriate conversations with your daughter and you definitely need to reassure your daughter. But keeping her from having any contact with the aunt she loves is just wrong. Maybe only allowing them to see each other while you're present until you know you can trust your sister not to bring up the subject again would be a good compromise but please stop punishing your daughter. She did nothing wrong and probably could really use her aunt in her life while her mom is away.
You should NOT be flushing tampons!
