NTJ. I'm inclined to think this guy befriended you because he saw your expensive cars, and that really sucks. Don't do it. I know from experience it's a bad idea. You've done plenty to help this guy out. He can ask all he wants. But when you say no, he should gracefully accept that. The fact that he got upset, just shows he was planning on continuing to use you.
No. NTJ at all. Your father did move on quick. I'll never understand how people can do that. I'm a widow, but I still can't even imagine being with someone else and my husband has been gone for 8 years.
All that aside, your father should have at the very least talked to you about your room. You went to a birthday party and came back and your room was gone. You've got every right to be mad. It was a VERY sh¡tty move on your father's part.
I don't want to and can't even get into your stepmother.
NTJ. Your SO is throwing some red flags here. 1, what he said wasn't sexist. 2, imo it wasn't even that big of an insult. 3, she's ok with leaving a child alone. That would not bo okay with me.
But I also think your punishment was too steep. Yeah he shouldn't have said it, but he's 13. 13 year olds don't have a very good mind to mouth filter. And he regretted what he said immediately. That's why he tried to backtrack.
I'd be more mad about how your SO reacted than I would about what your brother said.
But again, how is calling someone just a dishwasher a sexist comment?
