Unless there was signage expressly allowing it to be off-leash, the dog should have been restrained. That being said...YTJ. And a big whiny, entitled infant J at that. You and your wife went to a dog-friendly venue, and upon arriving and seeing that it was VERY dog-friendly, you chose to stay, despite abhoring dogs. That is no one's fault but your own. And you had both the audacity and stupidity to grab a strange dog by the collar and drag it somewhere? What if that dog was reactive to that and bit you? The dog would likely have had to be put down just because you decided to ignore common sense and act like a child. What if the owner was justifiably upset and you got into a physical altercation? This one is all on you. Oh, and "gross dog germs"??? You sound like Violet from a Peanuts cartoon. Grow up.

NTJ. She had no right to treat anyone like that, much less the minor child of the person letting her live there for free. You handled this splendidly, and she's lucky you didn't tell her to GTFO right then, which is what I would have done if I walked in on that happening.
YTJ. 2-3 parties a week? Multiple neighbors asking you to keep it down and you ignore them? Calling your landlady names and shutting the door in her face? You are a godawful tenant & neighbor, and you need a reality check, kiddo.
