You have my support 100% though you should be careful who you tell that story to , its not lawful conduct. And Bethany could have called the police, because thise frat guys assaulted her, committed battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress ( a civil violation ), property damage, and possibly many other violations of criminal & civil law. Sometimes using lawful means can mete out the best "revenge", since loss of one's liberty by going to jail or loss of money in one's pocket, are fairly strong punishments !!
You did the right thing! It had to be done, but sadly, many people take such injustice and never rectify the situation. From what you described, the place was poorly run, negligently run , and unqualified people were being promoted thru nepotism. Everyone suffers when this is done. You followed lawful, appropriate channels so you weren't the one causing the shutdown & unemployment , those people guilty of employment law violations did that !!!!
