Some people just have it! They’re born with that presence and charm, that star power and voice, that je ne sais quoi that captivates an entire audience. And while “The Voice” is a battle between contestants, it’s no secret the judges are also battling each other. Whether it’s for a higher salary or bragging rights, the banter is hilarious, plus, they genuinely want the contestants on their team to win.
This video shows 18-year-old Britton Buchanan and 16-year-old Jaclyn Lovey singing Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” during the battle round. Both are on Alicia Keys’ team and both are amazing!
Britton and Jaclyn performed a mighty fine duet, both bringing everything they’ve got to the stage. While the teens are powerhouses in their own right, their voices work very well together. Britton’s smooth and low velvety voice starts the song before Jaclyn takes over with her high and sweetly hypnotic tone. Both sing from their hearts, wooing the audience and their judge!
Alicia really has her work cut out for her on this one – Britton and Jaclyn were dynamite! Blake and Adam get into a bit of an exchange, calling them a “…match made in heaven.” Blake can barely contain his excitement, but Alicia had to make a tough call. I know that even the contestant who goes has a bright and shiny future ahead!
