Groom Pranks Guests With Lost Ring Stunt

Every love story is different. Naturally, each wedding, both the ceremony and reception, is different, too! It’s important for couples to add in their personal touch, and make it about them rather than doing it the way everyone else does. While some customs and traditions will remain, there usually is something added to the big day that symbolizes the couple’s relationship. And the wedding ceremony is the perfect place to spice it up! Sometimes they can be really long, and with young children and great-grandparents, it’s not uncommon to feel tired or restless when the vows seem like they’re going on forever!

So, why not jazz it up a bit? Surely, anyone who knows Stuart, the groom, might have had a hunch he would pull a fast one! When the vicar asked the question, “If I could have the rings, please…?” it was the small cheeky grin that came across the groom’s face that said it all!

It was on Stuart and Vicki’s wedding day in the English countryside that their serious ceremony took a turn for the downright hilarious! It starts a week back when Stuart hatched a plan with the vicar to make his wedding extra special. Stuart and his brother Robert, also his best man, have shared many pranks in the past, as most brothers do! I’m not sure what Robert did to deserve this one, but it worked out beautifully!

As the vicar waits while Stuart and Robert figure out who has or hasn’t got the rings, it becomes apparent that the rings were left at home and Stuart must go get them or else the ceremony becomes void in five minutes. Just as Stuart runs out of the church, and Robert is feeling a little uneasy and confused, a screen drops down behind the altar and plays a video of Stuart running around town in a series of laughable moments that show his struggle trying to get back home in time to get the rings. It’s a well planned, well-executed prank that had everyone giggling, even the bride! This is a testament to the honor and love as just witnessed, between the new, happy couple!

I would love to see a prank like this pulled at a wedding I attend!
