There are a lot of battles and rivalries surrounding the Star Wars universe. Ask any Star Wars fan out there, and they will be happy to tell you their opinions on any number of things. Whether they stand with the rebels or with the “Empire,” which is the best movie, and who is their favorite Jedi are all popular topics.
In case you’re curious, I sympathize with the rebels, “Return of the Jedi” is my favorite movie, and Yoda is my favorite Jedi, though Rey may eventually take over. After seeing the most recent film in the theaters, I spent hours with my friends, discussing every moment and what it meant in the context of the entire series. I’m sure that we weren’t the only ones.
Whether or not you are a fan, it’s difficult to deny that Star Wars is an undeniable “force” in the pop culture and media landscape. The franchise has been around for decades, and over the years, the fan base has already grown. Children that grew up with the original trilogy are raising a whole new generation of fans. Even throughout the rough years of the prequels, fans managed to remain steadfast.
The two young men in this video are obviously fans, but they’ve taken it to a whole new level, one that nearly anyone can appreciate, even if you’re not a die-hard fan. This talented duo has created a performance piece that deserves to go down in Star Wars history.
When a Jedi and a Sith cross paths, we expect a fight to go down, but not like this one. Instead of lightsabers, these two battle with guitars. We’ve seen some fantastic lightsaber fights over the years, but these guys and their guitars rival the best!
