It’s just another lovely day in the neighborhood. An average day in the car driving from point A to point B, when all of a sudden, things take a drastic change for the worse. It’s an unsuspecting person’s nightmare, especially when it’s as crafted as this scheme. There’s no getting out of this one, unless you’ve got another set of eyes, and in this case, the driver did!
This plan was a simple but effective insurance scheme that could have gone sideways extra quickly had this driver not been prepared. Luckily, her dash cam caught every detail and saved the day.
As the driver was headed down the street, she noticed a man with a bike in the middle of the road. As any driver would, she slowed down, unsure what he was doing dismounted and leading his bike right onto her path. As she slowed down, she saw him grab the handles and slam the bike back into the hood of her car. Seconds later, he slammed his own body on to the windshield, mimicking what appears to be an accident – and all her fault.
To make matters worse, a seemingly innocent passer-by just so happens to be crossing the road at the exact moment this is happening, equipped with a camera phone. She is aghast at this terrible situation and yells, “You idiot! I have a camera!”
And thankfully, she did. She caught the whole charade, in perfect view, and the moment she said the word “camera,” the two men couldn’t get away from the scene fast enough!
